About the notebook

A place for
paying attention.

Frame Notebook is a small visual journal about the character of everyday places.

We look at buildings, landscapes and the spaces in between. The subjects are ordinary: a sunlit wall, the curve of an arch, a path that takes a little longer. Our interest is in how these details change the way a place feels.

Look slowly. Keep a note.

Each entry begins with an observation. Words and simple illustrations are used together to make room for another perspective. This is an ongoing collection, with no map to finish and no perfect image to find.
